National statistics released over 48 hours cover insolvency, roads, nature, planning and mortality

The Insolvency Service said the individual insolvency release includes monthly tables and commentary on the numbers and rates of individual insolvencies, including bankruptcies, debt relief orders and individual voluntary arrangements, in England and Wales and Northern Ireland, plus quarterly information for Scotland and Breathing Space scheme statistics for England and Wales [1]. The company insolvency release covers the numbers, rates and sectors of companies that have entered formal insolvency procedures in England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland [2].

The Department for Transport published travel-time measures for congestion on the Strategic Road Network in England and locally managed 'A' roads in Great Britain for the year ending June 2026 [3], [4]. It separately issued the first provisional Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation statistics for 2026, covering the supply of renewable fuels for January to December 2026 [6].

Natural England released an updated 2022 Children's People and Nature Survey, which ran during school holidays and term-time to understand how children and young people aged 8 to 15 in England engage with the natural environment inside and outside school [5].
