Late September public notices show councils and First Bus moving on the same dates

Notices published on 17 and 18 September set out a concentrated period of local authority meetings and First Bus route changes starting on Monday 21 September.

Bristol City Council published an agenda supplement for Area Committee 4, covering Central, Ashley, Lawrence Hill and Easton, which is due to meet on 21 September at 5.30 pm [3]. It also published an agenda for Area Committee 5, covering Lockleaze, Hillfields, Eastville and Frome Vale, on 28 September [4] and for the Economy and Skills Policy Committee on the same day [8].

Somerset Council published a supplement on the deployment of High Needs Provision Capital Allocation for its Children and Education Scrutiny Committee on 21 September [10], and Somerset's Audit Committee will meet on 28 September [12]. Cheltenham Borough Council published an agenda update for its Licensing Sub Committee on alcohol and gambling for 21 September [11] and minutes from its Overview & Scrutiny Committee meeting of 7 September [9]. Tewkesbury Borough Council's Standards Committee is scheduled for 28 September [7].

First Bus service updates list temporary route changes starting 21 September: services 15 and 16 at Wymondham [1], service 7 overnight at Slough [5], and services X4 and X5 at Bursledon [6]. Bristol City FC also said the winner of its Academy Goal of the Month for August 2026 will be announced on 21 September [2].
