Housing and planning papers cluster on council agendas as B&NES prepares Local Plan consultation

Cheltenham Borough Council's Planning Committee met on 17 September with officer presentations [5], [7]. Somerset Council published a decision sheet from its Planning Committee - South meeting on 15 September and an agenda for a further session on 29 September [4], [9]. Cotswold District Council published an agenda for a Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Housing and Planning Decision Meeting scheduled for 25 September [3].

Bristol City Council's Homes and Housing Delivery Policy Committee met on 18 September with public forum statements and questions, and a presentation from Turner and Townsend on the annual cladding remediation programme [2], [6], [8], [10]. Somerset Council's Scrutiny Committee - Adults, Health and Housing was also scheduled for 18 September [1].

Bath & North East Somerset Council said its cabinet had agreed to move forward with consultation on the Draft Local Plan, which sets out where homes, jobs and essential infrastructure could be delivered [11].

Taken together, the published papers show housing and planning decisions being scheduled by several local authorities in the same two-day period.
