Hospitality claims and insolvent employers feature in same employment tribunal round

Employment tribunal decisions published by HM Courts & Tribunals Service on 21–23 September include claims against catering, restaurant and pub operators including Compass Group UK and Ireland Ltd, Hamble Catering Ltd, Griffin Catering Services Ltd, Viva Italia Ltd, Heavenly Desserts, The Rising Sun (Church Gresley) Ltd, PLK Chicken UK Ltd and Positive Pub Group Ltd [2][3][4][5][6][12][11][21]. Separate claims were brought against Elite Concessions Ltd, and three claimants each brought a case against the Lutton Farm Partnership [7][8][31][32][33].

Several employers in the same batch are named as being in liquidation or administration. The case titles record ERV Group Ltd, Tapp’d Cocktails Ltd, J F Renshaw Ltd, NRS Healthcare, National Timber Group Scotland Ltd, Kellwood Engineering Ltd, Coille Haulage Ltd, Aberdeen Spll Product Ltd and TripleForce Security Ltd with such a marker [13][15][16][27][28][29][30][23][24].

The release also features public bodies with regional names: Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust was named in one decision, while Wessex Water Services Ltd was the respondent in another [22][1]. Other public-sector respondents in the same round include the Home Office, NHS trusts in Lincolnshire, Lancashire, Bradford and Sheffield, and North Yorkshire and Cambridge City Councils [9][18][20][10][14][26][25][17][19].
