Gloucestershire councils hold cluster of planning and licensing meetings in one week

Several Gloucestershire district councils held planning and licensing meetings or published decisions within a single week in mid-August 2026.

Cotswold District Council refused plans for ten bungalows off the A429 next to Esmere Gardens in Moreton at a Planning Committee meeting on 11 August, the Cotswold Journal reported [7]. On the same day and at the same time, Cotswold District Council's Planning and Licensing Committee met [8], [9] and Forest of Dean District Council published minutes from its Development Management Committee meeting [8], [9].

Tewkesbury Borough Council held a Planning meeting on 18 August [5], after an Additional Representations Sheet was published for the same meeting [4], [5]. The council had also held a Licensing Sub-Committee meeting on street trading and hackney carriage and private hire vehicles, drivers and operators on 17 August [1].

Cotswold District Council scheduled a Licensing Sub-Committee meeting for 19 August, with an agenda supplement published for the Existance Festival [2], [3]. Cheltenham Borough Council published minutes from a Licensing Sub-Committee meeting held on 5 August [6].
