Council meeting papers and criminal court records put public record-keeping in focus across the West

A busy week for public records opens in the Bristol area with council meeting papers and a family-history event both drawing attention to how local decisions and historic crimes are documented. On 21 September, Bristol City Council’s Area Committee 4 and Cheltenham Borough Council’s Licensing Sub Committee-Alcohol and Gambling both met, while Somerset Council’s Scrutiny Committee - Children and Education met earlier the same day [1][10][3][11][2][7].
