Bath and Bristol groups line up events on repair, wellbeing and graduate theatre

A hospice, a university and a drama school have announced public activities in the Bath and Bristol area, with repair and wellbeing events scheduled in the same October week.

Dorothy House said it will partner with BRLSI and Share & Repair Bath for Fixfest, a family-friendly repair and reuse event, on Saturday 10 October from 10am to 4pm [1]. The University of Bath said its Be Well Week, a free programme of student-focused workshops and activities built around the "Six Ways to Be Well", will run from 5 to 9 October [2]. Bristol Old Vic Theatre School said a new musical, Pericles (Kind Of), created by 2025 MFA Professional Acting and MA Directing graduates, will feature BA Professional Acting students [3]. With Fixfest and Be Well Week falling within the same October week, the three organisations are adding repair, wellbeing and arts activities to the area's events line-up.
