Airlines, ports and haulage firms dominate latest employment tribunal decisions

HM Courts & Tribunals Service published a batch of employment tribunal decisions on 17 and 18 August 2026 [1], [11], [13], [15], [16].

Case titles in the release identify several respondents from the transport and logistics sector. They include airlines EasyJet Airline Company Ltd, British Airways plc and Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd [5], [8], [16]; port operator Associated British Ports [2]; logistics firms GXO Logistics UK Ltd and DHL eCommerce Ltd [6], [11], [12], [10]; and road-haulage and passenger-transport companies Express Transport UK Ltd, Somerset Passenger Solutions and Sullivan Bus and Coach Ltd [3], [15], [9].

The same two-day period also produced decisions involving employers in other sectors, such as Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Gateways Educational Trust Ltd and Waterstones Booksellers Ltd [7], [4], [14].
